Are You Ready To Become Relevant, Effective, Authentic & Lasting Leaders
R.E.A.L stands for “Relevant, Effective, Authentic, Lasting” leaders that we help to shape through our Community Interest Company.
We believe that some of the best leaders are those that are great at building lasting relationships and go out of their way to help others. Our programmes are designed to bring this out in the people we work with.

Develop stronger, sharper and more resilient leaders in organisations, able to tackle even the most complex challenges
Place organisations at the heart of local communities, tackling issues to improve society
Raise organisations to the next level in demonstrating social and added value
Positively impact the lives of those who desperately want a new start, giving them an opportunity to change their future
We train people to be mentors and to ensure we help shape the best mentors. We support and guide our mentors to mentor and work with young people with a criminal history, often referred to as “gang members”.
Many of our young people are not bad people, yet when you grow up in a deprived area, you don’t meet career professionals, let alone have a chance to be mentored by one. Instead they often meet drug dealers and gang members and that’s what you know. Our programmes make sure that these young people meet and spend meaningful time with career professionals.
Our young people learn about a host of other opportunities available to them and our mentors learn to develop solid relationships with driven, clever and complex young people. And if you can apply your mentoring training successfully with a complex young person, leading, motivating and guiding someone in any other setting will be easy.

Are you looking for a different kind of leadership training?
Whilst the majority of organisations have leadership development programs, research shows many of them are ineffective in developing key capabilities in leaders, such as acting strategically and managing complexity.
Our practical programme is unique in its methods and offers unique benefits because of that.
We know the participants on our programme will develop first-class leadership skills and the confidence to manage even the most complex and challenging management issues.
It’s a demanding and daring programme, but it’s also proving inspiring and exciting and it’s making a difference in so many ways.

Below are answers to some of the questions we’re most frequently asked
Our programmes go far beyond volunteering because we use methods found in many leadership programmes, such as psychometrics and professional coaching all geared towards helping grow leaders.
Our programmes are funded through the Apprenticeship Levy which means if you are a Levy payer, you can draw down your funds. If you are not a Levy payer, the Government will pay 95% of the cost of the programme.
Without the right training and support, it could be which is why all of our ex-gang members have completed our programme readiness pathway and been approved to take part in this. We partner with charities that are experts in working with ex-gang members and each ex-gang member goes through a “programme readiness pathway” prior to taking part in this programme. Managers are also assigned an expert mentor, that is a professional in working with ex-gang members.
1 day each month everyone meets together face-to-face… In between these meetings mentors will have remote 1 to 2 hour training and reflective practice sessions, supported by 1-2-1 professional coaching, where their coach helps mentors consider how to best use their learning in their place of work.
